Just to let you know that you must install some libraries to compile and run hyphy-gtk under (k)ubuntu 6.06:

sudo apt-get install libcurl3-dev libgtk2.0-dev

after that it works like a charm...

Dear Tristan,

Thanks so much for the tip - I'll add a comment in the README file to that effect.

I'd also be grateful for any other feedback on the GTK GUI that you may have.
