Dear all,
I'm new user of HyPhy and I'm not really familiar with all these scripts.
I've tried to run GARD analysis using MPI environment but we have problems with it (detailed in another post)
Is-it possible to run analyses such as GARD (but other too) without MPI environment? If yes, do I need to modify the script ? Can I find informations for that somewhere?
Many thanks in advance for your help. I have so much things to understand!!

Dear Alex,

The short answer is : the GARD script must be modified to run outside an MPI environment. Let me see if I can dig up an older version that may have the serial code still in place.

Hi Sergei,

Thank you for Hyphy! I am a new user of Hyphy and find it very useful.

I would like to run GARD without the MPI environment. Our alignments are always less than 10 sequences and thus, we do not see the necessity for MPI env. to analyse our datasets.

If you have found it, could you please send me the file with the serial code? It would really be useful.
