Title: Significantly different synonymous rate and dN/dS Post by Mao-Lun on Nov 23rd, 2011 at 7:12am
Hi there,
I was running dNdS.bf to get dN and dS trees, and I found the branch leading to my ingroups having really long branch in the dS tree. I wonder how to perform a LRT to see whether this branch has significantly higher dS than others. Can TestBranch.bf do this job? As my understanding, while using the TestBranch.bf the LRT was to compare the tree with globally fixed dN/dS value (null) versus the tree with dN/dS value free from the constraint on selected branch (alternative), but it's not about testing synonymous rates. Thank you. Mao-Lun |
