Title: How does one input a tree into Datamonkey?
Post by Dan Fulop on Jun 5th, 2012 at 8:02am
Hi HyPhy community,

I want to run analyses on Datamonkey with a user-specified tree instead of a neighbor-joining tree.  Is this possible?  If so, how does one input such a tree?

Thanks,
Dan.

Hi Dan,

This is not only possible, but in fact, encouraged. All you need to do is include a tree in the alignment file, as shown in Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login Login, and if the tree is successfully processed, you will see a "User tree" option on the analysis page.

Hi,
I still can't get a tree to upload. I've tried all the formats. Any suggestions? Could it be a browser issue?
Thanks.

Can you attach your alignment file?
