Is it possible to make a HyPhy batch script raise an exception or error, or at least halt execution? I am writing a script, and I would like to get some visible error and program halting if a specific condition is met.

Use the assert statement (you may need to download and compile the hyphyqt branch of Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login Login).
