scale the tree on syn or nonsyn via script
Nov 9th, 2005 at 10:57am

Hi,
I am reproducing an analysis fo codon models as in Kosakovsky et al (2005, Statistical Methods in Molecular Evolution). I just using a MG94 local model. My question is: Once I get the likelihood and the tree I wonder how to scale the tree to synonymous or non-synonymous views via scripting? because I want to get saved separately both tree-views, is that possible? I thought in pstreestring but I dont' know what parameter give to this function.

By the way I am enjoying with this wonderful soft.

Dear Antonio,

Several other people asked me similar questions, and I am preparing some code to address the issue; should be avialable in a day or two.

Cheers,
Sergei
