Bayes Empirical Bayes

Hi,

I was wondering if Hyphy can do a Bayes Empirical Bayes method to infer sites under positive selection (Yang, Wong and Nielsen, 2005). If yes, is it implemented in one of the batch files examples?

Thanks,

Olivier

Dear Olivier,

It can, but I never got around to implementing it. I'll be happy to help you do it, because all you really need is to be able to compute weighted sums of likelihood values, which you can easily do in HyPhy batch language (at least for the M3 and M8 type models).

Cheers,
Sergei
