Sequence ambiguities and GARD
Nov 17th, 2008 at 8:21am

How does GARD deal with partial ambiguities in sequences (e.g. R's, W's etc) that are being assessed for recombination?

Thanks, Lisle Gibbs

Dear Lisle,

GARD (and all HYPHY-based analyses) deal with ambiguities as partially missing data. A detailed explanation can be found in Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login Login (section 3 on page 5)

Cheers,
Sergei
