Data format: Codon?
Jun 8th, 2010 at 1:56am

You suggest that the data type for running SLAC, FEL, and REL is "codon", but not nucleotide or protein sequences.

(Do I need to transfer "ATGAAATCGTTT" with space between into "ATG AAA TCG TTT"? Shocked)

How do I prepare the "codon" sequences in txt format file?  I need to know that, otherwise I cannot analyze my data.

Thank!!

Hi FanLee,

Codon data are nucleotide alignments that contain coding sequences; you don't need to format them in any special way other than to ensure that there are no premature stop codons. Please take a look at Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login Login for further pointers.
