Choosing GTR for compartmentalization analysis
Feb 2nd, 2014 at 5:45am

Hi Sergie

I have small questions about choosing GTR as the substitution model when analysing compartmentalization using Fst.

I thought you need to choose Custom and enter 6 digit code, 012345, to choose GTR for Fst compartmentalization. Is this right?

What is the difference between GRM and GTR?  (could you please recommend me some papers about GRM?  Embarrassed)

Hi Eunok,

GTR and GRM are the same thing: General Time Reversible vs General Reversible Model. Sorry for the confusion.
