Running Spidermonkey/BGM locally
Apr 27th, 2009 at 1:14pm

Is it possible to perform Spidermonkey locally? I naively tried to run TemplateBatchFiles/BGM.bf, as I couldn't find a clear option in the GUI menu.

Thanks again,
Sarah

Dear Sarah,

BGM is available as an option under QuickSelectionDetection.bf (not the most logical place for sure!). Follow the same option path as you would for SLAC, but select BGM co-evolution in the 'Ancestor Counting Options' menu and then follow the prompts.

HTH,
Sergei

Hi Sarah,

I'm hoping to integrate BGMs into HyPhy in a more user-accessible fashion, so we would really benefit from your feedback about your end-user experience!  For example, where you'd intuitively expect to find BGM methods.  Smiley
